Product Manager New Haven CT (Need 1)



The Product Manager for XYZ company an industry leader in it's niche - Seeks a Product Manager who will be responsible for managing the life cycles for products.

The product manager will stay current with industry and market developments to maintain product competitiveness. Any competitive threats need to be documented and company responses created to related industry news.

This individual will work closely with the company's engineering staff to define customer requirements for product initiatives; manage relationship with engineering from requirements analysis, product design through certification (where appropriate), product launch and product enhancements.

Provide field training and support to the sales force by communicating technical information, help in developing sales strategies, performing sales training, assisting in proposal generation and giving on-site product demonstrations.

The product manager will also work closely with the marketing communications staff to develop and improve product literature, case studies and other related materials. Initial projects will be to help complete the current document management projects and then move on to the design of a role based workflow module and implement this into the next generation of Westbrook products. Other projects will be around designs and development for document management and record management features.

Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's Degree. A minimum of 5 years of experience. Only applicants with a strong understanding of and background in workflow and BPEL software and hardware will be considered. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be versed in use of Microsoft Office products and possess excellent presentation skills.

Responsibilities

3 Quality Assurance Analysts 2 Senior 1 Junior New Haven, CT (Need 3)

Quality Assurance Analyst responsible for creating, implementing and automating testing across the SOA product line assigned to. The QA Analyst will design, document and implement test plans for new projects, report and manage defects, regress software fixes for new and existing products, assist development with replicating and debugging problems and develop test automation solutions as needed. The ideal individual will possess strong technical and programming/test automation skills, have experience testing enterprise-class system software packages and will have a working familiarity with MS Windows.

Essential Job Functions

.Design, develop and implement comprehensive QA test plans and test cases, tools and infrastructure for assigned areas of the Fortis product Line. Run regression tests against releases of the SOA product lines. Perform all aspects of verification, including functional, structural, regression, load and system testing. Document, troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing. Design, develop and implement complex test automation both at the functional and system level. Work with other members of the Westbrook QA team to improve our processes, tools, methods, effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical training and professional work experience
  • A minimum of 2 - 4 years cumulative experience developing or testing commercial Windows based software
  • A strong technical background coupled with in-depth experience testing manually or automated
  • Background in various QA methodologies and experience developing and executing comprehensive test suites for system software
  • Database or SQL experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot software / hardware configuration problems
  • Demonstrated ability to handle/organize multiple complex technical projects.
  • Will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
